Steve's Machine

Owner of Supreme Cycles Steve has an Avanti Team Chrono, And his Daily ride an Avanti Quantum Di2, which he used recently to race to 2nd in NSW state road champs.

Daniel's Ride

AvantiPlus Narrabeen Manager Daniel owns a few bikes an Avanti Quantum 1 custom, but on the Dirt Dan rides a Scott Voltage FR10. He loves it, very good heavy duty all mtn bike or optional DH!!

Matt's Bike

Matt is a mountain biker at heart and loves pretty anything that is related to a mountain bike which is shown by the fact he owns several bikes a Avanti Vapour 3 and an Avanti KISS 29 er and an Avanti Giro 4 amongst them.

So far this year i have raced my newest toy an Avanti Vapour 3 for the last 6 months, competing in the Mont 24hr, Dirtworks 100km , Capital Punishment 100km, James Williamson 50km, Rockytrail 4hr race and a few others as well.
The Vapour has proven to be a great bike at eating up the distance, the first thing you notice is just how well the bike pedals even when out of the saddle, the other thing is just composed the bike is on a descent just eating up the terrain around it!

I have done a custom build on my Vapour to get it down to a weight of 10.9kg which is pretty great for an alloy dual suspension bike! The Spec on the standard bike is great and is all very solid kit that is great value.

I have also have just finished a long term test on a 2011 Avanti Torrent 3 on loan from Avanti.
This bike really suprised me just how much it could do as a trail bike it is brillant and is very light, but also as a light All Mountain bike it is amazing too it just hammers down so much and you never feel unsafe. Around local trails of Redhill and Manly Dam it was a hoot to ride i thoroughly enjoyed riding this bike!

Blake's Rig

AvantPlus Narrabeen's newest staff memeber Blake has done his best to one up the team. Blake is riding a Brand New 2011 Avanti Quantum Team Di2. This bike never leaves his site he loves it.

On Test

At the moment Matt has just finished some tough testing of the 3 all new bikes the 2011 Scott Genius LT40, 2011 Scott Scale 29er Team & a 2011 Avanti Torrent(Tough job).
Stay tuned for a full low down on the Genius LT40 and the Torrent 3.

Dan will also be testing the Scott Genius LT40 aswell.

Scott Scale 29er Team first thoughts (By Matt)-

What a blast that bike was to ride a real mile eater! 29ers are really starting to show their colours as great race bikes and great trail bikes for places like Manly Dam. The Scott was really fun to ride, the bike descended like a downhill hill bike and was very fast on the flat, the gearing allowed even the steepest of climbs to be over with without killing yourself, only upgrade needed is a longer stem for those who like to xc ride or race!
