AvantiPlus Narrabeen Owner Steve Brown
Steve Brown came down to work for a summer in November 1988 and found working on the northern beaches more enjoyable than suffering through gruelling races in north eastern France and southern Belgium. The Owner of AvantiPlus Narrabeen (formerly Supreme Cycles) since 1990. Steve has always been a road rider but is occasionally tempted to get out in the dirt with the guys and has competed in 12hr events as well as most of the well known Australian road races. Steve Rides a 2010 Team Avanti Quantum with elctronic Shimano Dura-ace, Avanti Pista Team, Avanti Chrono Team and a Avanti Blade.
STEVE 2ND IN NSW
The morning Road Championships was held on an 84km loop . The course was a challenging undulating circuit with a couple of leg testers towards the end, the strong crosswinds really sorted the race out early and made for a hard day.
Stephen Brown got in the move when it mattered to take a great Silver. The Criteriums were held for the first time at the Marulan Driver Training Centre (all feedback on the new course was favourable). In M4 - Stephen was 8th.
AvantiPlus Narrabeen Manager Daniel Harris
Daniel Started working at AvantiPlus Narrabeen (Supreme Cycles) in his teens,and has been the manager for 10 years now. Daniel is MTBA trained bike mechanic. Daniel is also the shop's expert in suspension servicing & set up. Daniel has been extensively trained by Avanti & Scott and has a vast knowledge of their products.
Daniel has extensive Fitting Knowledge and is fully trained in our "Dynamic Fit" system which is a video capture fitting system.
Daniel started Cycling as a road & track rider, over time this moved onto Cross country mountain biking then onto downhill mountain biking. Daniel competes in cross country and used to race track bikes.
Daniel Currently rides a 2010 Avanti Quantum 1 Custom Build, and also rides a custom 2010 Scott Voltage FR10, with Rockshox Reverb Seatpost, 10spd SRAM X.9, Raceface Bars & KENDA SWS tyres. Daniel also rides a P2 dirt jumper.

Sam, Daniel & Matt all went downhilling last week along with mate Pete at Warrimoo DH track. The helmet cam is on Sam.
AvantiPlus Narrabeen Matt Turner
Matt Has worked for AvantiPlus Narrabeen (Supreme Cycles) for over 5yrs now, Matt is an Avanti trained bike mechanic & is trained in Avanti, Scott products, Matt also has wide knowledge of Mountain Bike products.
Matt is a mad keen mountain biker who races Cross Country & Adventure Races, racing in events like the Australian 24hr Solo Champs, Ottwaway 100km race, Highland Fling 100km, Dirtworks NSW 100km, Dirtworks VIC 100km, Mont & Scott 24hr Races, Katmandu Adv Race Series and will sometimes compete in Downhill.
Matt has been lucky enough to ride Mountain Bikes All through NSW & VIC as well as overseas in New Zealand, Spain And most recently In Canada completing a 6 week riding Trip through BC & Alberta Canda.
Matt currently owns/rides a Small fleet of bikes including a Avanti Vapour 3, an Avanti KISS 29 er single speed, a Avanti Giro 4 road bike, a Enduro All Mtn bike and a Demo 8 DH bike.
AvantiPlus Narrabeen Troy Rowell
Troy has worked for AvantiPlus Narrabeen (Supreme Cycles) over 6yrs now. Troy is one of the shop resident mechanics and bike builders.Troy is a former DH Champ in NSW. Troy ride XC, All Mtn and DH
AvantiPlus Narrabeen Blake Gilmer
Blake has been a customer and regular ride member for a number of years before joining the Team at Avantiplus Narrabeen.
Blake is also our " go to " guy for all things GARMIN so any queries pop in and have a chat.
Blake is pictured during the city express bus ride he is in the saxo bank gear.
Blake rides a Di2 Team Quantum and a P2 Dirt jumper.

Jaz Races Downhill (Winning a Ourimbah Club race), does BMX, Dirt Jump and sometimes he likes to pedal and do some Cross Country! Also he prettyhandy with a Scooter.
Sam Rides BMX, and also races Cross Country (has competed in several Mont 24hr races ). Sam is pretty handy with a Scooter
